Here are some Traditional Ways to make your New Year Special!!

New Year Eve cultures and traditions vary in different parts of the world but almost all of them are meant to bring happiness, prosperity and good luck in the New Year.

• In Philippines, it is a tradition to consume round fruits and wear clothes with polka dots on New Year's Eve. For them, all things that are round in shape are suspicious and symbolize prosperity for the New Year. 
• In Denmark , people throw old dishes on their friends doors. Finding many broken at their doorstep is a symbol of luck and signifies that they have many friends. Some people also jump off chairs at midnight. They believe this will get rid of all bad spirits in the New Year. 

• In Japan, Buddhists temples ring a bell 108 times at midnight. It is believed that by doing this, listeners are purified of 108 types of sins they did in the previous year and purifies their soul  and gives good luck.
• In Scotland, men parade through the streets holding blazing balls of fire. It is believed that these balls of  fire bring sunshine and purification.
• In Spain, it is a ritual to eat 12 grapes at midnight so that the 12 months go on smoothly and with joyfulnessssss.
